Organisers of a charity cycling event are looking for women to get on their bikes for a great cause.
The are 109 women already signed up to take part in WoW (Women on Wheels) Sudbury social ride but more are needed.
Last year there were just over 120 participants in the event, which raised money for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The ride takes place on Sunday, September 16 with a choice of a five, 20 or 50 mile route available through countryside around Acton and the surrounding villages. It will start at Acton Village Hall and the route is open to women and girls aged eight and over.
Tracey Loynds, Chief Executive of South Suffolk Leisure said: “What a great introduction to cycling which is ultimately our objective of increasing female participation in cycling alongside raising money for a fantastic cause.”
