Organising committee chairman Angie Talbot said there would be a historical theme for this year’s procession to Belle Vue Park.
“We are looking for people to take part in the carnival procession. You don’t need a lorry, you can walk, ride your bike or even push someone around in a wheel barrow and it’s free to take part,” she said.
The committee is also looking for the next Sudbury Carnival Queen and her court. Selection night is on May 10 at Sudbury snooker club in North Street.
