Sudbury railway station is to host photographs featuring work by pupils from a nearby school.
Students from Thomas Gainsborough School at Great Cornard worked with the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership and Greater Anglia on the project.
Artwork from the children will go on display at the station this month and feature photography around the theme of ‘Patterns in Nature’.
Lucy Nichol, lead practitioner of art at the school, said: “I thought with the railway station being directly opposite the meadows that focusing our photography on ‘Patterns in Nature’ would be really appropriate.”
Jayne Sumner, Essex and South Suffolk community rail officer, said: “I’ve been really impressed by the quality of the students’ work and I’m delighted that, with Greater Anglia, we have been able to transform Sudbury station into a gallery of their work.”
